What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. ChapterOps uses a minimal set of cookies — only what is strictly necessary to authenticate you and correlate errors for our monitoring service.
Cookies we use

What we do NOT use
- We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
- We do not use cross-site cookies or share cookie data with advertisers.
- We do not use fingerprinting technologies as a substitute for cookies.
Sentry session replay
Sentry may capture session replay data (anonymized click/navigation patterns) for a small sample of sessions to help us diagnose errors. This is classified as a functional (non-essential) use. Sentry does not use this data for advertising. We do not enable Sentry replay for authenticated student member sessions — only advisor sessions may be sampled.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies using your browser settings. Blocking the Supabase authentication cookies will prevent you from signing in. Blocking the Sentry cookie does not affect your ability to use ChapterOps.
EU / GDPR
ChapterOps primarily serves US schools. If you are accessing ChapterOps from the EU, the authentication cookies listed above are strictly necessary for the service to function and do not require consent under the ePrivacy Directive. The Sentry functional cookie is set only after you actively use the platform (sign in) and is limited to error correlation. We do not set any cookies on unauthenticated marketing pages beyond what your browser requires for navigation.
